Birthed in October of 1984, this 501 c-3 org has had the priviledge of traveling the United States, Canada, and distributing thousands of radio broadcasts, television broadcasts, and literally hundreds of thousands of pamphlets, brochures, and books to people in need. God has been faithful to sustain us through 23 years of service so far. We pray for the church (at large) that is so asleep and filled with Satan's C.I.A. (Complacency, Indifference and Apathy). Even now, in 2007 fewer churches are involved with helping organizations like this one than ever before. Even the church that had underwritten us for 12 years took their money elsewhere this past year. But inspite of all the attacks, set backs and disappointments, I can only cry "PRAISE YOU JESUS" for all that He has done through this humble servant.

WHO IS LAST HARVEST? - It is a grassroots network of volunteers stretching around the world. Who is Last Harvest? It is precious life saving individuals like Gail in Rockville MD, Vicki in Murfreesboro, TN, Susan in Augusta, GA, LeAnn in Grand Junction,CO, Bonnie in Toronto, Canada, and hundreds more like them who serve as users of our information, our Bible study, our Referral Team members and more. Last Harvest is more than just a single minister's efforts or vision. It is the collection of actions and services of hundreds serving in Crisis Centers, Churches, Social agency offices, Counseling offices located in major cities in 42 states, Canada England, Germany, Indonesia, South Africa, Singapore, Australia, the Ukraine, and South America. Since training over 2500 volunteers how to help the hurting, during the years 1988 through 1995, we purposely trained the group leaders to mentor and disciple the next round of group leaders through the individuals currently taking the recovery courses. All training is learned within the group setting or today through online distance-learning support.

WHO IS KEN FREEMAN? (the founder) - Ken Freeman was raised in Kilgore, Texas son of T.H. "Tex" and Dorothy "Dot" Freeman. Raised Southern Baptist, as a rebellious child, fell victim to Satan's attacks as early as 6 weeks after giving my life to the Lord. I like to say, I "went to hell, didn't pass go, and sure didn't collect $200 along the way!" The result of nearly 12 years of sex, drugs, rock n' roll nearly took me away from the real Rock of Ages and the Roll called up yonder! However, a mother's earnest prayer never goes in vain. At age 24, deep in sin, lost as a single goose on a private pond surrounded by hunters, I should be dead, overdosed, or in prison. But by the Grace of God alone, I am here today serving the Lord Jesus Christ my personal Savior and Lord. I was found by God (Psalm 40: 1-3) stoned out of my head wishing for more of the same. But His profound love hit me in 1972, like a machine gun blast from Heaven. Ultimately, it left me flat on my face crying for more. Two little 12 year old girls (I must say, they must have been angels) came to me in my lost state to tell me simply: "God loves you more than you know how to be loved." That thought haunted me for two years as a ran as fast as I could from God. But His profound, unconditional love won my heart in 1974. Like Norma McCorvey, (Roe of Roe v Wade) whose book Won By Love, tells the story of how a little girl witnessing to her brought her out of the abortion movement into the profife movement, I too, was won by love.

After studying the Bible intensely, then teaching the Bible for years, I was led to Dallas Theological Seminary where I studied as a lay person. That experience led to the founding of Calvary Chapel of Dallas, TX in 1980 where Pastor Bill Phillipp and I started in his living room a church that today has raised several other Calvary Chapel's in the area. After stepping down from that ministry as worship leader, in 1983, I spent a year in sabbitacal ministering to my wife and family. In 1984 a series of events catapulted us into the position of starting Last Harvest Ministries Inc, with three other men who met at a Denny's®. It was birthed to be a ministry of compassion and care for the hurting ones. Our goal was simple: to promulgate the Good News of Christ through: The name Last Harvest was taken from the concept that if these are indeed the last days, and if its true that God wants us to work in His Harvest field which is human souls, the logical conclusion is that the unborn child in the womb of women of this generation are the last havest field before the return of Jesus Christ. Thus, the name LAST HARVEST.

• Teaching - via the radio, telephone, websites, seminars, books, tapes etc.
• Preaching - via the radio, telephone, website, church services, and a complete online "fellowship" site.
• Worship - leading worship at every opportunity to serve live audiences.
• Prayer - through any contact with a live person I make on the air, on the web, in person, or on the phone.
• Writing and publishing books, tapes, radio, tv, video etc to communicate and promulgate the message of HOPE & HELP & HEALING THROUGH A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS

Little did we know the profoundness of the name we had chosen. LAST HARVEST: These are the last days before the soon coming of Christ Jesus. He has called men to work and labor in His harvest fields. His harvest fields are ripe for harvest, but the laborers are few. Think of it like this: the unborn child in the womb of this generation is the last human field of souls to be born of this "last days" generation. No wonder Satan is after every unborn child through abortion, infanticide, and homosexuality which by default ends reproduction. Thus, as we started, not knowing for sure where it would take us, the ministry soon launched a radio show. Who listened and called us late on Friday nights? Those who had experienced abortion. Then, when we were given office space, where was it located? Next door to an abortion clinic. Thus, the mission was born out of need. Today, the mission stretches around the world reaching 125 nations and more than 3 million souls a year.

Today we have witnessed the Lord provide for us time and time again in small gifts, medium gifts, and large gifts that were far and above anything we have ever asked or imagined possible. Since 1993, the ministry has headquartered out of dontated facilities located at Samaritan Springs just outside Marshall,TX. Today, that location has been closed to public access as it is today used for private retreat use and personal ministry while the headquarters has moved back to Garland Tx. Every gift helps us save lives through early intervention and caring for the mother. Every gift helps us set another captive free through our online recovery course. Sponsors of our books and services help us provide free services to our clients. We pray. God speaks. His people listen. A gift is given in obedience and out of a heart of love.
